Mosque Blasts Prayer Call At Elderly Couple’s Home, But It Pissed Off Wrong Grandparents

When an elderly couple expressed annoyance at a nearby mosque’s loudspeakers that were blasting calls to prayer, the congregants tried intimidating them into silence. However, they quickly discovered they had messed with the wrong grandparents.

When Muslims are a tiny minority, they demand minority rights, tolerance, and respect. As the population grows, these calls for equality soon turn into ultimatums for appeasement and special privilege for no other reason than their ideology’s innumerable compulsions. Once the community reaches the majority, the religious minorities are forced to submit to Sharia law, which denies them basic human rights. Such is the time-tested process of Islamization, which has proven true in over 50 modern Muslim nations.

Disturbingly, Germany is willfully heading down the same destructive political path that it evaded during the Muslim conquests. This time, however, its Islamization hides behind the left’s “multiculturalism,” although it’s nothing more than the eradication of all cultures for the sake of Islamic culture. Unfortunately for these religious militants, there are still Germans left who aren’t about to give up their country without a fight.

Shortly after receiving their first wave of Muslim migrants, the tolerant city of Oer-Erkenschwick graciously offered them the special privilege to make adhan, also called azan, every Friday, calling local worshippers to the mandatory Islamic prayer. Just as every community that gives an ounce of entitlement to Muslims discovers, their new guests began blaring the Arabic call to prayer over loudspeakers, disrupting the neighborhood with its cleric’s ear-splitting incantations.

Although several residents made formal complaints about the mosque’s loud and irritating chants, they were easily intimidated into silence. In fact, a Syrian Christian refugee even filed a complaint about the disruptive adhan, only to quickly withdraw his report when he was “massively threatened” by local Muslims, Breitbart reports.

So, when an elderly Christian couple added their names to the list of complainants demanding the court revoke the mosque’s permit, the Muslims believed they’d have no trouble strongarming the aging pensioners into withdrawing their legal grievance. What the Islamic zealots soon discovered is that seasoned patriots don’t cower in the face of tyranny.

According to local German outlet Westfalen Postdespite intimidation from the Muslim community, the elderly couple refused to withdraw their complaint, suing the mosque for “negative religious liberties” and subsequently convincing the Gelsenkirchen Administrative Court of North Rhine-Westphalia to revoke their permit.

The complainants – who live just 900 metres from the mosque – said they felt affected by the muezzin’s reputation for being against religious freedom. Their legal counsel stated, “This lawsuit is not only about the loudspeaker permit, but in particular about the inherent messages that are publicly distributed in the muezzin call.”

Despite knowing they’d be a target for retaliation, the elderly Christian couple refused to back down until the court agreed that the adhan is a display of religious supremacy that defames and threatens all other religious minorities. In other words, the retirees convinced the court that the Islamic call to prayer is nothing short of religious hate speech.

While the couple agreed that their complaint includes that the call is inappropriately loud and disrupts their right to live in peace, it was their focus on the meaning behind the adhan that was most pivotal in the fight for religious freedom.

“It’s a chant in a key that’s disturbing to us, but it’s all about the content of the call, which sets Allah above our God as a Christian, and I as a Christian who grew up in a Christian environment do not accept it,” the newspaper quoted the 69-year-old plaintiff.

The couple’s attorney cleverly argued that the Islamic call to prayer illegally and immorally proselytizes to the public, coercing them to convert to a particular faith. Since the adhan explicitly tells everyone within earshot to come and pray to Allah, and reject any other god, the court had no choice but to agree that it should be considered illegal religious compulsion.

Although the translation varies slightly in each language, the meaning is the same across the board. It declares that Allah is the only god and Muhammad his messenger while commanding all, not just Muslims, to come to the mosque to pray to Allah:

Allahu Akbar
God is Great
(said four times)

Ashhadu an la ilaha illa Allah
I bear witness that there is no god except the One God.
(said two times)

Ashadu anna Muhammadan Rasool Allah
I bear witness that Muhammad is the messenger of God.
(said two times)

Hayya ‘ala-s-Salah
Hurry to the prayer (Rise up for prayer)
(said two times)

Hayya ‘ala-l-Falah
Hurry to success (Rise up for Salvation)
(said two times)

Allahu Akbar
God is Great
[said two times]

La ilaha illa Allah
There is no god except the One God

For the pre-dawn (fajr) prayer, the following phrase is inserted after the fifth part above, towards the end:

As-salatu Khayrun Minan-nawm
Prayer is better than sleep
(said two times)

Although moderate Muslims often claim “there is no compulsion in religion” in order to convince non-Muslims that Islam isn’t oppressive, the Quran begs to differ.

Quran (2:191-193) – “And kill them wherever you find them, and turn them out from where they have turned you out. And Al-Fitnah [disbelief or unrest] is worse than killing… but if they desist, then lo! Allah is forgiving and merciful. And fight them until there is no more Fitnah [disbelief and worshipping of others along with Allah] and worship is for Allah alone.”

This particular scripture, which is repeated in 8:39, explicitly commands Muslims to slaughter unbelievers until they are no more, outrageously asserting that disbelief in Allah is worse than murder. So that no one would mistake the word “fitnah” to mean persecution, the prophet Muhammad modeled this scripture by slaughtering the Meccans and justifying the onslaught by citing their desire to worship idols and false gods.
